1. You're probably too young to get a band.
2. You're not heavy enough for a band either - you have to be properly morbidly obese to classify for one! This is because the operation carries a 50/50 chance of survival so they will only take the risk if the person is so obese that there is a likelihood they will die anyway.
I'm sure you can get down to a reasonable weight through diet and exercise - you are not heavy enough yet to give up.
But if i were you, i would go and have a blood test. You may have an underactive thyroid if you are gaining weight for no apparant reason. It is better to know what the results of the test are than live in fear of a needle. I have had blood tests myself and they really are nothing to worry about. It's not a painful experience and if you don't look at the needle you wont even notice what's happening.
So please go for a blood test if you can pluck up the courage - it's better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure theres nothing seriously wrong but a blood test can clear up any queries or worries and you never know, if there is something wrong that you need to find out about, you will be so glad you had the blood test. So forget about the fear of needles - the blood test will literally last 2 - 3 minutes.

What is "14 stone"?
You shouldn't get a band -- especially being so young, go to the doctors - there could be a gland or hormone deficiency that is making you grow/ or gain weight so fast.
