I thank you for mentioning almond soy milk. Because I’m lactose intolerant and drink Silk Soy Milk for my daily milk use.

I love your video’s. I am to have the lap band next week, I am so scared about what is going to happen the first couple of weeks after surgery. I love your attitude. Any advise?

Yum!! I would have never thought to add those things. I’ve drank protein drinks in past weight loss attempts and I’ve always just mixed skim milk with the powder. It gets old after a while, especially when you’re drinking one or two every day. I can’t wait to try this!

OH YUMMY!!! If it tastes as good as it looks that should be easy to drink. Thanks for the video.

OK Thanks! that is good to know. I was sure I needed to do these daily. Glad to hear I don’t. However I knew my food would handle most of the protein intake I am trying these shakes for the liquid periods…

PS… I noticed that I may have provided the wrong impression. Right after a fill (which I have not recieved) I do 2 days of liquids followed by 2 days of mushie .. and the remainder normal. It is during those normal periods my doctor encouraged me NOT to rely on liquid proteins and use food as the protein source. Of course you can add the protein to the meal but she gave me the impression it wasnt going to be necessary. Just FYI …. (Hugs) Paula

Great demonstration. I had my lapband surgery on 20 March and everything continues to taste the same. I originally thought I had to rely on protein shakes to meet my daily recommended allowance, however was later informed that I need to rely on actual food vice liquid products to get my protein — just FYI.
