Overcoming Obesity – A Cry For Help

The problem with obesity has been progressing at an alarming rate and it is time to start reversing this terrible plague affecting every household in one way or another. We all know someone with a serious weight problem and its time to act.
The world needs leaders to step in and assume the responsibility to educate and motivate all overweight people and explain the reasons they have to get healthy and stay as healthy as they can. We need to help families, and all generations, young and old. We can give of ourselves to help spread the word. We need teachers, doctors, nurses, personal trainers and anyone who has some free time to help.We believe that:
Obesity is the result of only a few mistakes we make in our daily lives. We “obsess” over certain foods or types of products and by doing so make incredibly stupid choices in what we drink or eat. Obesity is not a lifestyle to accept or understand. If our bodies were meant to be obese all past generations would be extinct and were would we be? Obesity should be a word we want to put in the dictionary as an old forgotten term from the past! Obesity is one of the easiest behaviors to modify because it is a behavior you have 100% control over. This is something you have learned to do, even if you know it is deadly. Obesity is something you can change in a short period of time. (Compared to total lifetime) Obesity has nothing to do with exercise. Obesity has nothing to do with fast food companies. Obesity has nothing to do with the fact that our lifestyles have changed from generation to generation. Obesity will not reverse the fast pace of life we live in. Obesity is personal and cannot be blamed on others. (family, friends, teachers at school etc. ) Obesity is you and you alone, not your friend, husband, wife, brother or sister, mother or father, pastor or doctor. Obesity is yours and you have to live with it because it is you. It is what you have become. You are the only person that “can change it or die with it”. Obesity is not free and it’s cost is “worth “more than a human life. It is potentially the loss of a human life. Obesity is becoming the worst enemy we have. It will take a great war to end it and more soldiers to help fight it than all previous wars combined. It is the human fight of our lives. It is deadlier than all drugs that we know of. Obesity is nothing if we want it to be. If we teach each other the proper skills to beat it, it is nothing.
We need all your help. Lets end this menace to all our lives and teach the next generation how and why we undertook these drastic measures to help change attitudes towards the way we eat and drink.
We are bold in our statements but we have learned from all of you that drastic changes need drastic measures and your voices will be heard. Lets use the Internet to spread the news world wide in every language. We have a tremendous energy level and a burning desire to spread the solutions.

Customer Review: I have no idea how the authors expect readers to "be the leanest fittest family on the block" when they're advising people to avoid healthy foods (like omelets) in favor of pancakes in syrup, or to eat sugar laden desserts from Dairy Queen. IN the b...

Customer Review: The End of Overeating is an eye opening book. If you struggle with any pull toward the things you know you should not eat, the things that make you feel awful after you slurp them down and yet you eat every bite, you need to read this book.
